Lorraine Mennen, a perennial landscape designer with over 30 years of hands-on experience has appeared as a gardening expert on television, radio and in print. She is in high demand as an International lecturer and was a featured guest speaker at Canada Blooms again this past March.

As founder of Pathways to Perennials, she regularly presents workshops and seminars on a wide variety of gardening topics. Lorraine, the middle child of seven, with a high level of enthusiasm shares her landscape gardening experiences with a hint of humour.

 

Recent Community and Industry Involvement:

  • 2008 - Received the Business Achievement Green Award from the Township of King

  • 2007 - Received her honourary Master Gardener certificate from the Master Gardeners of Ontario Inc.

  • 2007 - Received an appreciation award from the Welcome Wagon for 10 years of sponsorship

  • 2006 - Received a special recognition award from the King Township Chamber of Commerce

 
Landscape Ontario member and recipient of multiple Awards of Excellence over the past seven years including:

Outstanding Display Gardens over 500 sq ft, Outstanding Display of Giftware, Outstanding Display of Perennials, Outstanding Promotional Event - Art & Jazz, Mother’s Day Party in Purple, Outstanding display of hardgoods.

  • Yearly participant in Canada Blooms – Lorraine Mennen has been a speaker at Canada Blooms for the past seven years

  • Communities in Bloom 2004 recipient – In recognition of our community beautification efforts in Commercial Category.
